This is a Japanese Fancy restaurant. The environment is superb, nice place to chill out. The whoole restaurants are partitionedd in cubicle form. They have:
• small cubicle - for couples;
• medium cubicle - 4-6 ppl;
• larger cubicle - 8-10 ppl;

I didn't really get to explore the place, 'cos I afraid that I might disturb other guests. Anyway, here's how our seat looked like:

My thoughts:
Nothing great about the food, and it's a bit over priced. However, it's a nice place for a guy to take his girlfriend/wife, for a nice date, anniversary or birthday dinner. For business pleasure, you can consider bringing your clients too.

While we were here that night, we noticed there were lots of reservations made earlier, and there were some ques at the entrance. Therefore, it's better you call up for a reservation, before you come.

It's been awhile since the 3nity & Chimera gang met up, everyone was so caught up with life & work. So I decided to do the long awaited & overdue gathering, in conjuction to celebrate everyone's belated birthday (from Jan - Jul)...

My thoughts:
This restaurant came to our discovery on one weekend. What caught my attention was "The Coast Mudpie". Wildchild and I decided to celebrate her birthday here for the first time.

The Coast serves similar food on their menu as TGIF & Chilis. Personally, I find the food nice and offers at a more affordable price.

Facts
You won't get to order "The Coast Mudpie" everyday from The Coast. I've been here 3 times, and I managed to eat it ONCE. After two great disappoinments, I finally learned from the staff that "The Coast Mudpie" will only be avaible in every 4 days. Therefore, I suggest you call them first, before going, if you intend to have this ULTIMATE dessert... to avoid potong stim!!!

Don't get me wrong, they serve other dessert too, such as brownies, etc... but I WANT MUDPIE!!!

Ho Ho Steamboat

When it comes to steamboat, we always pick Ho Ho Steamboat Restaurant. Simply because the food is fresh, tasty and reasonable pricing.

We used to travel all the way to Sri Petaling for this nice steamboat, however, we no longer do that, because they have a new branch at Kota Damansara.

Normally, if it's only the 2 of us, we'll order the mininal set, with extra dumpling, meatballs, and "UFOs".

Right after you put all the food into the steamboat, don't forget to add a little bit of the sesame oil.

My thoughts 我的感言:
The movie was never screened in Malaysia's cinemas, therefore I didn't get to watch it. Anyway, since it's a Studio Ghibli production, I'm sure it won't be that bad.

So far, I've enjoyed every single one of Studio Ghibli's works. They are not just another high budget anime with stunning visual effects or graphics... but stories with philosophy that makes you think about LIFE.

Each of their works, carries a message behind, emphasizing the concept of love, respect, courage, good against evil, peace, selflessness, environmental concern... and I value & respect all that.

I've actually ordered this version.

The Great LYN Nintendo DS Meet up - July edition: Photo Gallery

04) Penman ( who did not see us oendaning at the lobby and straight walk into the restaurant;

While waiting for the others its already 12 and we started eating. Yum Yum Satay.

05 & 06) Ayish & Yuki (they bumped into each other at the LRT station I guess);
07) Hamtarox;
08 & 09) Sihumchai and sihummoi;
10) Andy (But no DS, came for the food I guess);
11 & 12) Bernie with GF;


Games Played
Mario Kart, Tetris, Bomberman, EBA, Oendan, Sonic Rush, Warioware. I might miss other games played.


Food Selection
I usually avoids eating rice at a buffet, so since they have satay thats all I eat that day. Others that worth mentioning is the ice cream which they refilled around 4 pm. Can't really say much about the others but I saw lots of satay sticks at the table.


Duration of meetup
Sihum x2 and Bernie x2 left first around 3 plus. Then Andy, Hamtarox & Penman around 5. Ayish left after that and myself around 6. I donno how long did Yuki, Prime and Pheonix stayed at the restaurant or maybe after being chased out by the management.
