WARNING! SPOILER AHEAD!!!
My thoughts 我的感言:
• Very nice cinematography;
• excellent mood - cool colour scheme, black vs white, dark vs bright;
• The War scenes are magnificent (i.e. hollywood standard);
• the setup and props are nicely done;
• I didn't really like the editing of the story, the flow isn't smooth. I noticed most of the Chinese Films' have editing flaws;
• Story wise not bad. This is actually a remake of a 1973 movie - 《刺馬》, based on a historical event Taiping Rebellion (see below, find out more), that illustrated the corrupted government during the late Qing Dynasty, and the differences of soldiesr & politicians, leaders & followers, heroes & crooks;
• Acting wise, nothing great for Andy Lau (just like his performance in his other movie), however Jet Li & Takeshi have great improvement in their acting skills.

Because it managed to take me to a tour to "how Taiping Rebellion" were like. I've studied that in history class back in school before. If Taiping Rebellion won, it'll certainly change the history event of China, as well as the world.

I rate this 4/5.

Plus One Shabu Shabu 壹加壹

This is a new restaurant at 1Utama New Wing (1 floor below Shogun), serving Taiwanese Style Shabu-shabu.

Each table is installed with electric hot plate, where you cook your food with a pot. There's a power level attached to the table side, where you control the heat level.

You have a choice to order set, or a la carte (individual dish). There are few types of soup base, we had Pork Set Special and Japanese Miso Soup. Here're some of the food we tried, and we liked all of them.

Besides that, I had 2 bowls of rice. For some reason, not sure whether is the way they cook the rice or they used premium rice, the rice really taste good, smells good and feel good too.

By default, the drinks are freeflow. You get 3 choices - Nestle's Nestea: Ice Lemon Tea, Ice Peach Tea, and Orang Juice. If those are not your choices of beverages, you can order Premium Chinese Tea, and some other soft drinks.

The Soup is a bit tasteless for our taste, or it's probably suppose to be like that, I'm not sure. But don't worry, 'cos the food goes well with the variety choices of sauces available atthe Sauce Counter.

I'll definitely going back again. Do check this place out!

BB Gun - Ming Xin T.139

When to visit Wildchild's Grandma on Sunday, with the sis - Ellen & bro-in-law - Jass.

While grandma and the cousin was preparing lunch for us, Jass and I decided to visit the local shops, to check out some fishing equipments. Fishing isn't really my kind of hobby, so I went next store to get ice-cream, and I saw a toy gun at the toy rack.

I'm a toygun freak, just love toy weapons since little. The gun looked nice, with almost 1:1 scale, so I bought it.

Went back to Grandma's place, only discovered it's a BB Gun. Jass was quite curious, so was Wildchild, so I opened the plastic bag for everyone to see.

Jass tried a few shots at the pillow, and on his palm, he said: "not painful 1"...

After lunch, we head back to KL. Upon reaching home, as usual I'll take picture of my new toy and intend to blog about it later. So I took a couple of shots.

I was curious, what's the damage of the shots like, so that I can judge, whether it can be played by small kids or not. So I tried 1 shot on my palm...

*BAK!*

...immediately, I put the gun away, on the top shelf of the cabinet where kids are not easy to reach.

It was painful... T_T
