故事摘要: - 取之於 Yahoo!電影
1997年的夏天，27歲的阿妙跟欠債纍纍、拈花惹草的賣魚父親，被逼來到富貴墟打工抵債。見盡街市中人際關係交錯糾纏的她，決心不嫁給街市的男人。她訂下三年計劃，目標是在30歲前幫父親還清欠債，離開街市，找一個值得嫁的人，打破宿命。
同樣是賣魚出身的魚佬是一個將一生都投資在富貴墟的街市惡霸，面對機靈的阿妙，二人展開生意上的連番惡鬥。隨著超市的出現，街市陷於困境。魚佬為了拯救富貴墟，被逼與勢成水火的阿妙合作。最後，雖然救市失敗，但過程中，魚佬與阿妙都對對方產生了特別的感覺，可是，一直嫌棄街市的阿妙始終跨不過愛上街市男人的心理關口。
不久，妙父因心臟病離世，為免與魚佬在富貴墟朝夕相對，阿妙乘著政府宣佈清拆富貴墟之際，決定離開街市。她參加了政府再培訓計劃的化妝課程，希望藉化粧為自己換一個新的臉孔，從此告別過去。阿妙在化妝界開始了新生活，世界忽然間變大了，有著一種未知去向、又恍似重生的天空海闊。

Miu (Miriam Yeung) works as a fishmonger at the Prosperity Market to pay off the debts of her father. She gives herself three years to settle her father's debts, leave the wet market and find a man worthy of her. At the market, however, she finds herself at loggerheads with Mr. Fish (Eason Chan) in the neighbouring stall. A fierce battle ensues but the two are forced to work together when a new supermarket threatens their business at the Prosperity Market. Will Miu find her Mr Right, or is he a figment of her imagination?

My thoughts 我的感言:
人需要跟著時代而改變，卻不可忘本。要把握時機與及珍惜身邊的一切，因為錯過了或失去了，就沒的再回頭。
我想信這就是這部電影要表達的訓息。
我們為了追尋夢想，往往太過沉迷與再呼成果，結過在過程當中，毀了本來應有美好的回憶，以及忽劣了身邊所愛的人。 因為那才是最珍貴！

“我不是失敗，只是成功發現罷了…”

We have to change according to circumstances/time, however we shall never forget our roots. When there's a valuable opportunity, we have to grab it, and not to neglect those we love and care. 'cos the moment we missed out that great opportunity or lost our love ones... there's no turning back."

I believed that's the message of the movie.

To achieve our great dreams, doesn't mean we have to be too focus and borthered by the results/outcome(s), which caused us to miss out the fun in the process, and neglected those around us. Because those are more valuable & important then the results.
