Veteran Taiwanese singer Tsai Chin started her music career 37 years ago as a folk singer. Earning much praise for her unique silky voice, Tsai also became popular for her performance in musicals later in her career. In the recent years, she has become increasingly popular as a concert performer, singing at sold-out venues in Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, and even the US. Concert Hall - Golden Voice 2007 was produced by Peter Kam, who won a Silver Bear at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival for the Isabella film score, and Chiu Tsang Hei who is especially well known as a concert producer for stars like Sally Yip, Kelly Chen, and Jacky Cheung. Music lovers can look forward to Tsai's renditions of such popular songs as Jacky Cheung's "Farewell Kiss" (Track 7), Teresa Teng's "Supposing I Was Real" (Track 9), and Faith Yang's "Give Me Your Blessings" (Track 2) in this stellar concert hall audiophile album.

This edition comes with a DVD featuring ten music videos and a 30-minute making of documentary.

蔡琴在2007年加盟環球唱片，繼1月在香港紅磡體育館舉行《不了情2007經典歌曲》演唱會後，終於有全新國語專輯面世！蔡琴全新國語專輯《金聲演奏廳》是她首次一Take過同步錄音錄影，並由第56屆柏林電影節最佳電影配樂銀熊獎得主金培達及趙增熹監製，每首均是現場演唱、收音、錄音，首批CD及DVD更專程於德國做母帶後期製作，高清攝影技術，音色、影像皆優美絕倫。專輯隨碟附送10隻MV及誠製30分鐘的製作特輯。
今次《金聲演奏廳》之中，蔡琴用上全新概念，唱的不再是老歌，而是陪伴大家成長的流行曲「吻別」(張學友)、「用心良苦」(張宇)、「一場遊戲一場夢」(王傑)等十首，首首情歌用她魅力聲音演繹出來。蔡琴娓娓之音唱出一個又一個愛情故事，唱出每一個女人心聲。

《金聲演奏廳》是一隻新舊混合的唱片。舊的是整張專輯都是用全港只得一枝的無價寶，1946年出產的古董「膽咪」收音，與蔡琴聲音配合起來，效果出人意表。新的是過百萬高清錄影，96kHZ24BIT聲音取樣，並加入Audio +Visual再加Hifi元素。

My Thoughts
Finally, Tsai Chin released a new album, featuring all the Classic Hits in the 70s - 90s, by various artists, i.e. Jacky Cheung, Sam Hui, etc...

Her album is made for win!!! LOL~ seriously! I believe Tsai Chin has the most album being mastered/digitally re-mastered into DSD format.

Normally, I listened to her songs with Hi-Fi Stereo Headphones in the middle of the night, where no other noise polutions. You'll need to enjoy this in a Hi-Fi sound proof audio room, with super Hi-Fi system, to get the best out of it. Her voice is really God Made.
