Trip: KK, June 2008 - prelude

In 12hours time, I'll be on a plane, flying back to my hometown - KK.

Bringing a team of 6 (including myself) to climb Mt K. This will be my 4th time, and 1st & 2nd time for the rest.

The Team is make up different talents from different and yet related field...
01) Khoo - Indie Film Maker - 1st time;
02) Wai Onn - Audio Engineer - 2nd time;
03) Wei Tzen - Account Director - 1st time;
04) May - Business Development Manager - 1st time;
05) Wildchild - Audio Post Producer - 2nd time;
06) penman - 1 leg kicker!


We've been trainning for weeks... sometimes at Bukit Tabur, Taman Tun, Bukit Gasing, etc... I shall say, Bukit Gasing has the closet terrain for it, minus the mosquitos and the heat.

Can't wait to be back at home... miss home, miss my parents+family (eventhough I get to see them in KL sometimes, but meeting them back in home is so much nicer), miss my dog, miss the food, miss my friends, miss the PEOPLE!!!

This might be my 4th time climbing Mt K... many will think I must be crazy, and got nothing better to do. Well, if you really been up there, you'll know why I would still come back, and still excited about it every time. Words & Photos can't describe it... only personal experience will know. However, I shall still post photos, when back.

This trip back home... will be a very special+meaningful trip for me... not about going up to the highest peak in South East Asia for the forth time... only this time, I'm going up there with a proposal ring.

There'll be a HobbyCon this coming Saturday, 08 December 2007 at Asia City Complex, Kota Kinabalu.

1 of my worst flight delayed experience

I had one of the worst flight delayed experience yesterday, or rather this morning...

We were scheduled to fly back to KL from KK at 2050hrs, however, we received an SMS from AirAsia informing us that the flight had delayed to 2255hrs around 1600hrs.

So that changes the dinner plan, we supposed to have early dinner at 1630hs... -_-"

so my sis+bro-in-law went out to tapao bah kut teh, and we only have dinner around 1930hrs. After dinner, and a little bit of Wah Lai Toi, we were set to leave home again. Hugged my parents, farewelling and thanking everybody, i.e. my parents, my sis+bro-in-law, my dog - robbin.

I finally get to see the night scene of KKIA T2 (Kota Kinabalu International Airport Termimal 2)... it's beautiful! So proud of it.

While queing up for check in, I saw the time displayed was 0050hrs, so I approached 1 of the counter and reconfirm on the time, and it's true. Our flight has been delayed...for the 2nd time.

so I called my bro-in-law (which is half way back home) to return and take us home (thanks dude!).

after 2 chinese HK TV series, my sis+bro-in-law took us for a supper, as we had early dinner.

then we boarded at 2345hrs, and there are actually a crowd inside already. Later I found out there's a few flight delayed. Macau flight was aparently the worst kenal one... their flight has been delayed since pagi. OMG!!!

anyway, the flight departed sharp at 0055hrs... according to the air crew, he apologied for the delay, due to bad weather. I was so tire and couldn't care less, and slept through the flight as usual.

Arrived LCCT around 0330hrs, waited 10mins for luggage, got a ticket from the taxi counter - RM85!!!.

The cab dropped all of us at wildchild's place, and it was like almost 0500hrs. Unpacked some frozen food, and she sent me home with jenma. Reached my place at 0530hrs, and wildchild's went to have dimsum breakfast with jenma.

Thank goodness, I'm still onleave. Slept the whole day.

tomorrow will have breakfast with penpa+penma before heading to National Park and spend a night.

I heard it's really cold now, up there...

so excited... despite all the stress from work.

When think about going back home soon, all the worries/stress just vanished like that.

not to mention, wildchild has planned out the route for our food frenzy!!! jenma will be coming along too, and this will be her 1st time to Sabah.

In fact, one of my friend - mich is already in KK, Sabah with her hubby. I didn't know she bought ticket earlier on, other wise, will plan to go back together.

He youtubed her Hit MTV - I Fell In Love With The DJ, featuring Cham, and whole morning, we go ooh ooh ooh.

Besides she can sing in different style, she wrote her own songs/music too. A talented girl with a unique+chacter voice.
