Little Wok 生記 is the main "kitchen" at Restaurant How Ye Kee, i.e. they serve Chinese a lar carte or "big fry". Their business starts from lunch til late dinner time. However, there's a break between 2.30pm to 5pm.
Little Wok 生記
My thoughts: They have quite a variety of food on their menu. I probably need to cover them in 3-5 articles, because they are delicious!!!
So these were what we had for dinner:
Dish: Salted Fish with Pork Rice 鹹魚豬肉飯 Price: RM 4.50
Dish: Marmite Pork Rice 瑪蜜豬肉飯 Price: RM 4.50
Normally, we'll go for an extra egg. Fried Eggs
one of the best drink in the world - Coca~Cola.
Facts: Besides famous for their delicious+wide varieties, they are also well known for their fast cooking skills! There's one time, mob ordered his regular dish upon our arrival. While we were still deciding, his food arrived - fresh+hot!!! LOL~ no kidding!
There are many "Bah Kut Teh" restaurant in Klang Valley. However, only a few worth mentioning, example for one - bak 'GOOD' teh.
bak 'Good' Teh
My thoughts: This is not the best bah kut teh in town, however, it's one of my prefered ones.
bak 'Good' Teh's bah kut teh
Normally at any of the bah kut teh restaurant, there will be two types of soy sauce placed on the table - light sauce and the thick & dark sauce. A good mix between these 2 soy sauces with fresh raw garlic will make your bah kut teh experience... EXCELLENT!
>i9
the soy sauces - one of them is the light sauce, and the other one is the dark thick sauce... -_-"
Facts: Have you ever wonder? When you order a pot of Chinese tea for 2 persons, the staff will always bring 3 tea cups? or a portion of 5, you'll get 6 tea cups?
Well, there's a reason behind. Because tea have to be served in hot water, howver, you can't drink it, if it's too hot, therefore the additional cup is to serve as a cooling cup.
For example, when the tea is ready, the tea master (normally is the one sitting nearest to the tea pot... LOL!!!) will fill up all the cups. Everyone will get one, the additional cup will be placed next to the tea pot. If there's anyone finished his/her tea, the tea master will refill his/her cup from the extra cup.
This way, the guest can drink the next cup, without waiting too long for the tea to be cooler. Immediately, the tea master will refill the extra cup for the next guest.
Sri Nirwana Maju is one happening Indian restaurant in Bangsar. It's just next to AmBank, the place is always packed from noon to night, 7 days a week. More happening then any bistros/pubs in that area.

Synopsis: - taken from Golden Screen Cinema Dueling alien races, the Autobots and the Decepticons, bring their battle to Earth, leaving the future of humankind hanging in the balance. The feature is being directed by Michael Bay with Steven Spielberg acting as the executive producer.

My thoughts 我的感言: 99% of an "anime/manga/comics/games-turned-movie" is a big time SUXOR. However, Transformers: Movie is totally ROX!!!
I must say Michael Bay and team did a good job for this film. This is an answered prayer for every kids that grew up from the 80s. However, please don't expect it to be like the original The Transformers (TV series). It will be so wrong, if Michael Bay would have followed exactly how they were in the original animated TV series.
Because it's just so unlogical and against any law of physics, for the bots to do what they did in the animated TV series into the movie. Dreamworks managed to translate all that into this movie.
Original TF Fans will definitely won't like it at first impression, by the pictures released or the trailers. Because we'll make comparison with the TV series.
Since it's a Michael Bay movie, it's an action to the MAX movie, it can't be that bad. Just watch and enjoy it!
^0^
"Autobots... transform and roll out!"
note: the bots in the movie, looked a bit like the aliens from Battries are not Included". Anyone remembered this classic title?
Restoran Megah Good Luck has a variety of choices of food during the day. They have chicken rice, board noodle, fried kuay teow, fruits stall, etc... It's certainly one of our favourite choice for weekend brunch. We used to eat here every weekend, until we got sick & tire with the food. LOL~ pretty hardcore~eh?
Restoran Megah Good Luck
My thoughts: We normally come here for 2 particular food: 1) the famous "Siew Yuk Noodle", and 2) half boiled egg with Roti Kahwin;
There's a collaboration event by the National Fitness Council and 1Utama over the weekend at 1U - NFC 1 Utama Fitness & Youthfest 2007.
The event includes activities/competitions like:
the Battle of The Year Malaysia 2007;
the One Challenge Table Soccer Championship 2007;
the Malaysia DJ Battle Championship 2007;
We happened to be there to catch the Battle of The Year Malaysia 2007...
NFC 1 Utama Fitness & Youthfest 2007
the Battle of The Year Malaysia in action
My thoughts: We are living in a really really fast pace & high competition society. Due to that, many parents have to work extra hard, hoping to make a better living for their families, unfortunately, because of that, many times, they have neglected their children, which leads them to the wrong path.
It's sad, isn't it?
I strongly believe with more events/activities like this, will really help to introduce and promote healthy & fun ideas to the youth. With a sense of positive achievement, it'll do them real good.
However, parents shouldn't just push the responsibilities to 3rd party, parents should always be more supportive and encouraging to their children. Help your children to discover what's their talents. They need recognition from friends, teachers, schools, society, family and parents!!!
We have lots of talented young kids, that needs guidance assist them to discover their talents & passions.
I hope the ministry and private sectors will have more collaborations to organise more of such events for the youth.
"Thanks penpa & penma, for being such a loving, supportive and encouraging parents until today! Without your love, I would have lost so many times in my younger days! I love you guys!"
